The workshop
Terrazzo, stone masonry and ceramic craft passed down through the family, learned first on the Adriatic coast. We still work with a set of European hand tools tracing back to the era of ancient Rome, the only set of their kind in New Zealand.
Thirty-five years shaping stone, the last ten of them standing on our own, under a name of our own choosing. Stone Living was born, but the hands never changed. Our director trained at the Klesarska Škola Pučišća, the stone-carving school on the island of Brač, whose quarries once supplied Diocletian's Palace in Split.
